Human papilloma infection is the infection caused by human papilloma virus it is a virus that effects the dna strand.
Agent-
The main agent is human Papilloma virus of the papilloma Viridea family.
Host - the main host is human being.
This virus may be transmitted by sexual contact due to lack of protection hence is a sexually transmitted diseases.
This virus may be present as warts or a precancerous lesion and hence may lead to a variety of cancerous conditions like Cervical cancer, may effect the vagina, penis, anus, mouth, vulva etc.
Risk factors may include poor sexual activity safety, poor immunity.
This virus is known to effect only human.
Sexually transmitted hcv is divided into 2 categories like low risk and high risk.
Low risk cause warts around the Genitalia.
High risk hcv are known to cause cancer's and have a large amount of types.
It is also known to spread from mother to baby during delivery.
Sharing object-
Sharing of razors and other object is known to cause the transmission of hcv.
Blood-it has been assumed that hcv cannot be transmitted through the blood of the infected person but it may spread through muckus membranes.
Prevention-
Hcv infection can be prevented by-
Sexual hygiene
Sexual safety devices.
Vaccines- there are three main vaccines that can be used it includes gardasil, gardasil 9 and cervarix.
Condom-
Condoms are known to prevent the spread of this infection.
Disinfection-
Adequate disinfection must be carried out this involves use of Glyceraldehyde solution. Which is used widely in the hospital setting.
Health education-
Sex education- sex education plays a very important role in the prevention of hcv like virus.
Educate regarding cindom use during coitus.
Early screening of couples fir any strain of hcv.
Education regarding antenatal and post natal complications.
Education regarding screenings.
Drug-
Education regarding vaccine.
Education regarding use of drugs to enable control.
To encourage vaccine administration which may help readuce the spread of infection.
