Health Care literacy is an important aspect of patient care .health literacy is defined as the degree to which an individual can obtain ,communicate process,and understand basic health Information and services to make peroper health decision.

The lack of health literacy results in the underutilization of preventive resources such as vaccination and routine screening .it influences a patients understanding of clinician' s instructions on medication that may affect management of chronic conditions such as diabetes,asthma,or high blood pressure.
