Most social norms in Saudi Arabia are dictated by Islamic laws mentioned in the Holy Books. Saudi Arabia is a heavily religious state where Islamic way of living is given utmost importance. Therefore, allowing women to drive is a revolutionary decision in the country which showed the world that Saudi Arabia is ready to embrace modernity. This was a step towards a more liberal culture in the country. This changes the outlook of the world towards Saudi Arabia.
This will have a significant impact on the business environment in the country as well.
