Discuss the ways in which the linguistic diversity of a target audience affects programs being planned at each level of the public health pyramid. Please provide examples for each level. The four levels are direct services, enabling services, population-based, and infrastructure.

Linguistic diversity is specific meaure of the density of language or concentration of unique languages together. It can be problematic in different aspect. At the population based service level of public health pyramid desparites with in a population are revealed through the collection of data related to that population. Health programme targeted at population faced the challenge of deciding whether to make the programme generically acceptable for most of the members in that population. Conversation or communication is the central to nearly every human enveavor, some people have full appreciation of the complex invtricacies associated with linguistic behaviour of miscommunication when people from different linguistic background or linguistic diversity
* Direct health care services ; it will lead to verify that the intervention included in the program should mathch the culture, language and norms of the audience. It can be culturally, etinically and linguistically acceptable to those audience
Eg ; basic health services, service for children with special health care need.
* Enable in services : At the enabling service level of the pyramid focus agrigates and family. The interpersonal interaction between the participants is the essential element of service at this level.
Eg : transportation, family support services, case management, special supplimental nutritional programme for women infant and children and education.
* Population based services : Population based service of the public health pyramid focusing the vital statistics and health care utilisation. Interpersonal interaction between staff member and the participants wil vary from minimal to nont.
Eg ; New born screening, immunization, counciling, oral health, injury prevention, nutrition.
* Infrastructure building services : Infrastructure level focusing socio cultural characteristics of a target audience within the infrastructure and it is necessary to address the proffectional diversity that exist within the infrastructure, specific health care organisation or health care system.
Eg : meets assessment, evaluation, planning, policy development, coordination, montoring, training, applied research, system of care.
