Using the characteristic of a Democratic leadership, what do you believe you must do to effectively communicate change to a multi- cultural team.
The democratic leadership style is the best-suited leadership style. If we talk about change it could be change related to technology, culture, etc. The main purpose of change in the majority of time is about increasing the revenue of the company and expanding business. Communication of change is very important because the employees could get to know what exactly they have to do now. When the team is multicultural then the leader should include team members from various cultural teams and communicate the change to them. Since people coming from the same culture have a strong influence on them and the words communicated by them will be easily accepted. So this process will have a strong impact and the company will be able to communicate the change effectively. Since people show resistance by not accepting the change, the leader who is coming from the same culture will explain the change with a cultural perspective and focus on a clear vision. This will ensure the team member believes in the change and accept the change for the betterment of the organization. Here the main aspect for the chosen leader to re-organize the company based on the cultural change.
