What is the key challenge of a re-engineering project in terms of implementation?

Solutions

Expert Solution

Answer: There are a number of challenges that are faced by the re-engineering project in terms of implementation. Some of them are

  1. Lack of commitment and support at the ground level because of the reluctance to change. The implementation of the re engineering process requires that the support at the ground level is there but at times entities like trade unions and employees oppose the implementation because they are reluctant to change because of the ambiguity and uncertainty involved
  2. Support by the top management: implementation of such projects require support and commitment at the top level so that proper funds and resources are available. But at times the top management is not committed towards the projects as they are not on their priority and this affects their implementation
