Grades assigned by an economics instructor have historically followed a symmetrical distribution: 5% A’s, 25% B’s, 40% C’s , 25% D’s, and 5% F’s. This year, a sample of 150 grades was drawn and the grades (1 = A, 2 = B, 3 = C, 4 = D, and 5 = F) were recorded. Can you conclude, at the 10% level of significance, that this year’s grades are distributed differently from grades in the past? *****I dont want the excel table answer..I need all the steps.. Thank-you!

Grades assigned by an economics instructor have historically followed a symmetrical distribution: 5% A’s, 25% B’s, 40% C’s, 25% D’s, and 5% F’s. This year a sample of 150 grades were drawn and the grades were recorded. The sample had 11 A’s; 32 B’s; 62 C’s; 29 D’s; and 16 F’s. Can you conclude, at the 10% level of significance, that this year’s grades are distributed differently from grades in the past?

Microsoft historically followed the practice of recognizing 25% of revenue from its Windows software over three or four years as it promises future upgrades and addons. With the launch of Vista in 2008, it changed the policy to record most of the revenue in the period in which the software was sold. In the third quarter for fiscal year 2008, Microsoft reported an increase in earnings of 65%. The increase came from sales of the new Vista program and also...

Sally, Roda, Yousef and Nasser were assigned as a team by their instructor. They have a project to work on for 2 weeks.  They met 5 times so far, and it seems that everything the team discusses becomes an argument. Yousef keeps accusing Sally of being late and careless. Roda agrees with Yousef and thinks Sally is putting useless effort on the research. Nasser on the other hand is supporting Sally's perspective by being flexible and supporting her approach to the...

Suppose we have assigned grades for the 11 students in our data: Grade A for students who scored ≥ 90; B for students who scored ≥ 80 and < 90; C for students who scored ≥ 70 and < 80; D for students who scored ≥ 60 and < 70; F for students who scored < 60.
