In: Operations Management
write a one page letter to your loan lender, convincing him on how your facility can pay his money. Tell him what your assisted living facility do,
summarizing your financial needs and discussing any assumptions or limitations of your budget. Be sure to also address any unexpected things that might occur (downturn in the economy, policy or legislative changes to insurance, etc.). This written narrative will be given to the commercial lender in support of your application for the loan.
The manager,
ABC Bank,
Dear sir,
We have already discussed about why we (Hayasinth Clothings,
Arizona) need this loan and how we can repay it. Hope you remember
that. Even though I would like to clarify that through this
letter.
Hayasinth Clothings is retail textile shop located in the heart of
the Arizona city. Since our opening in 2010, we have been able to
make decent revenues each year. We run the shop in a single shuttle
rented room with two other staff. With in these years we have made
a handful of loyal customers.
In the last couple of months we were thinking about extending our
shop to serve the growing customers. But we weren't convinced to
move our shop to another location. Accidentally, to our goodness,
the next shop guy is moving out his jewellery shop. Seeing this as
a perfect opportunity, we are planning to take that room too and
extend our shop.
For this we need a good amount money in different heads. We need to
give rent in advance to the building landlord, to furnish the new
room, to purchase new clothes.
We are pretty sure that Hayasinth will gain more business after the
renovation. We will only need one extra staff as we have already
two.
I can guarantee you the business will take off to new heights if
anything unexpectedly happens such as changes in tax on garment,
slow down in economy etc.
Hope you will sanction our loan application as soon as
possible.
Yours Faithfully,
Thomas Ibrahim,
Proprietor,
Hayasinth Clothings,
Arizona
