members. These integrated hospitals hiring disabled veterans,
women, and people who aim for a bright and healthy future. it was
contractors general hospital with a small 12-bed desert hospital by
Kaiser Permanente. it was one of the first providers in the country
for prepayment with insurers that treated mainly construction
workers with late insurance reimbursement and uninsured
patients.
Henry J kaiser industrialist, researcher, and clinician recruited
the founder of contractor general hospital Garfield to make prepaid
health care for workers. it established an integrated organization
that become Kaiser Permanente.
