Ultimately, Rachel Carson became the “Mother of the Modern Environmental Movement” through her book'Silent Spring' by pushing for environmental policies that would protect human health and the environment.

She wrote many influential books such as'Silent Spring', 'Under the Sea Wind' , ' The Edge of the Sea' and 'The Sea Around Us' . These works influenced concern over environmental protection and conservation and human health.
