1.1 The Industrial Revolution working condition were extremely threatening for many reasons. A factories were being built, there were a need of workers. The majority of unskilled worker who are working 12 to 16 hours per day, six day a week without any breaks and holiday. Women's received one third of the pay that men's received where as children's were received. even less. Due to high unemployement workers were eaisly available to employers. The factories were dusty and dirty without any proper lighting. There were no saftey mesaure for workers. Overall the working condition in industries towns and cities were pathetic. The cities were overcrowded, poor condition of roads, pollution. The lack of sanitation also led to spread of diseases.

2.2 Before industrial revolution people worked as farmers. There was only small number of people working in industry. But after the industrial revolution the work and life of people would be transformed forever. There is a shift of population from farm to cities. The machines and technique are started to be used in farming. Before revolution people rarely travelled beyond thier small village. The Industrial Revolution bring rapid production of hand tools and other items. The growth of road, rail transportation and invention of telegraph. This revolution which involve major changes in manufacturing, communication and transportation transformed daily life of people of America. There is great shift in overall production and economic condition of America.

3.3 After Industrial revolution life improved in many ways but Industrial revolution also worsen the condition. The Industrial revolution led to sepration of labour and capital which results in income inequality. There were harsh and bad working condition. Child labor was also a big problem. The workers are forced to leave thier family and migratre to cities in search of job.They have to work in dirty and overcrowded industry even without proper sanitation and saftey mesaure. Industrial revolution proved harmful due to many reasons.

4.4 Labour Movement in US started to protect the need and common interest of workers. The labour movement led effort to stop child labour and to provide better health benefits to workers. Before labour movement the workers are being exploited at thier working place and the also have to adjust with low wages an poor working conditions. But after the Labour movement the scenario is changed for them. Now they have a labour Union who work for betterment of the workers. They played a vital role in the relationship between workers and owners and have helped to improve the working conditions.
