State functions are properties that only depend on the state or condition of the system but not on the paths they take from one condition to another. Examples: temperature, pressure, volume, enthalpy, and so on.
To get points, you need to post a single post to show an example of state functions and make a few sentences to explain the property and why it's a state function, and use a real example to illustrate that, like the one in the lecture slides about the altitude and elevation between 2 cities.
Suppose there are two places. One at a very high altitude may be a hill station and another is a place at sea level. Now you can travel from the sea level to the hill station by two possible ways, one is by a airplane and another is by walking. When you choos to walk then you have to do work a lot but in case of airplane the work is very less. Since, the work depends on the path or way. Hence, the work is a path function.
But in case of temperature, either we choose any of these paths, we will feel the same temperature at the hill station. That is the temperature at hill station does not change depending on our traveling path or way i.e. temperature only depends on the condition where we are present. Hence, temperature is a state function.
