Effective Engineering in today’s world requires intelligent use of all potential engineering tools. One of the most significant tools is modeling, whether it is hand models or complex computer models. Hand models are simplified models which contain the prominent elements of system or circuit behavior. Computer models permit the inclusion of second and third order details to more accurately reflect real world behavior. When using any model, however, it is critical that the model be valid, accurate, applicable, and useful. For this assignment, you will analyze the effective of a system model. You may select an example from work, from a company or experience you had in the past, or invent an opportunity that should exist.
1) Explain the theory: Select a company, and/or company product which rely on modeling to develop, debug, or improve the product.
a) What is the primary product(s) of the company? What product, or process, etc. was modeled?
b) Briefly describe the application, and the modeling tool.
2) Discuss the effectiveness of the modeling tool by considering the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities or threats of using the modeling tool
a) What benefits are there? Give 3 specific benefits to the company of the modeling.
b) What risks are there? Give three specific examples of information or reactions not adequately or accurately reflected in the model. What risk do these generate for the company?
Today Engineering requires mostly use of sources which we get from the environment. for this we need an intellgence about needs and sources. Here i take product from one company explain the all examples.
1:- Take automatic fire controller robot system from sony comapny. Every time it is not possible to blownoff the fires by man forces. men cannot go to some areas. there we need the robots , so sony company develop the robots. further this technology enhanced to different fields like cropping etc... in this the improvement going to next technology.
1a:- the main product of this company are electronic products used in daily needs and emergency times. the above product mainly belonged to the electronics.
1b:- This is mainly designed for blownoff the fires where human cannot go. this is very useful in industries and fire accients etc.
2:- This is robotic based system. so in today generations it is very useful. anyone can develop the product further. the main strenght of this project is using of robotics because everybody have a knowledge of robotics. the weakness are sometimes the system maynot work properly accordingly our instructions. if the technology is completely developed many company ready to use it.
2a:- 1) it is robotics based project so developing further is very simple. so everyone try to develop this project. 2) in today life fire accients very common so we need a system to resist that accidents. in this way it is very useful. 3) the cost of desinging of robotics is very less so it economically it is very useful.
2b:- as we know it is progremmed system so some emergency times it wouldnot follow our instruction properly. so one of the major disadvantage. the hackes may hack the robots and use them to accordingly their wish. in this the company may get some risks.
