The first principle of project management is understanding your objectives. Determining what you intend to accomplish will help you develop your over-all project structure moving forward. After determining your objectives, you will need to develop project SMART goals. These goal needs to be smart ( specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and timely. This key concept of project management helps ensure everyone is on the same page and their is a clear focus and direction for your project.

Budget means expenditure. The budget will play a major role in over-all project scope. When you have your approved budget, you will have to carefully consider your project priorities and determine which aspects are essential and which can be reduced to reach your goal.
