From a social science perspective, what “mistakes” do you think Freeman made along the way to developing lobotomies as a “miracle surgery

• Freeman performed lobotomies for prevention of mental illness
• It is done before the introduction of antipsychotic drug
• If Patients suffering from depression and schizophrenia ,freedman would suggest lobotomies
• Also called psychosurgery
• Through my point of view , i cant even imagine the procedure without fear .what a horrible procedure is he did
• He made incision on head,drill skull and cut the section of nerve for the treatment of mental illness.
• He said after procedure ,patiemt anxiety and comprehnsion can removed
• Ice prick lobotomy is most fearful procedure in which instrument is pass through orbit and frontal lobe of brain ,in which make to and fro motion by instrument

Mistakes

• Making of more incised region
• Patient will be more panic during procedure
• Can lead to brain hemorrhage
• Can cause nerve and russue damage inside eye
• More incised painful area is there

Through my perspective it is most utter failure treatment heard in medical science .No one can even imagine this psychosurgery
