List 10 of the identified common signs of adverse drug reactions in both the general population and the aging population.
Adverse drug reaction may be defined as the effects of a drug which are usually unwanted.
Most of the drugs cause several effects but only the therapeutic effect of the drug is needed. The other effects may be regarded as unwanted, whether they are harmful or not.
However, the term 'adverse drug reactions' are mainly more appropriate for drug effects that are unwanted, unpleasant, and potentially harmful.
An adverse event is harm that occurs while a patient is taking a drug, irrespective of whether the drug is suspected to be the cause.
An adverse drug reaction is a harmful reaction to a medicine given at the correct dose. The reaction can start soon after you take the medicine, or up to 2 weeks after you stop.
