Alwi, a second-hand seller has exhibited his wares at the Cheap Sales Expo. Customers are allowed to view and check the condition of the goods before making any payment. However, after two days a customer came to see Alwi and wanted to return the item that he bought due to the item being of low quality.
what is the issue in this case?
The issue is to whether buyer has neglected the sale terms and conditions. From seller point of view , Seller has fullfilled his part to aware , warn and inform the buyers about quality and performance of the products being sold.
As per sales of goods act, Seller has fullfilled his obligations to offer buyers reasonable time to examine the utility, quality and performance. So , he may denied to return the product because before making a products customers were asked to check the conditions of goods.
Plaintiff may sue him for any damages caused if so occur .
