Let's talk about health, life and death. I found this video, the last one of David Bowie's before his death, very powerful. As most of us are going to be going into healthcare we are going to be confronted by death. Even if we are not going into medicine, death is the one thing we cannot escape.

For this DB lets have fun. Discuss, surmise and imagine ourselves in the shoes of those we watch on TV, in the movies or on the stage. You can talk about the artist's life, diagnosis, treatment or anything that strikes you as interesting. You can compare and contrast their lives with those you know, or even you. Please make sure your primary post is at least 350 words.

Health is a person's physical or mental condition. A healthy person is one who is free from any sort of mental or physical illness and is living a happy life. When we say 'XYZ person is healthy or is in good shape'. It means that the person is free from any injury or illness, be it physical, mental, or social. A person's health can be determined by various factors such as Nutrition, Lifestyle, Environment, and genetics. These play a vital role in determining a person's health. If anyone among them is Compromised, The health is compromised and immediate medical care is required.

In recent years, the Perception of health has changed. Earlier where anyone with a little excess fat on the body was labeled as unfit or unhealthy. The landscape has changed in recent years and it is not just about the numbers but what can be achieved in prime health condition. Some of the ways to keep track of good health are

Heart Rate, Temperature, Blood pressure, Respiratory rate.

Life is a cycle in which every living being has to play their part for a period of time. The time period might differ for everyone from species to species. Everyone has a purpose in life for which they are born and to fulfill that purpose is the eternal goal. This same purpose can shape life decisions, cultivate new goals, and also influence behavior.

Death is the culmination, The end of everything. All living species are met by death at the end of their life cycle. It is not the same for everyone. It can happen because of natural causes, Terminal illness, accidents, or something life-threatening. To put it Scientifically, Death is the permenent cessation of all biological functions that form the basis of life for all human beings. Each day hundreds and thousands of people die because of various reasons.
