The drug order, written by the physician,it has 7 essential parts for administration of drugs safely.
* Patient full name and medical records
* Date of order
*Drug name
*Dosage
*Route of administration
*Time and frequency of administration
*Signature of physician
B. Utilisation of medication administration record -
* Medication administration record(MAR) is used for document medications taken by each individual
* The MAR includes, a colum which lists the name of the medications that are prescribed.The initials of the person assisting with the medications.
*Also MAR is the report that serves as a legal record of the drugs administered to a patient at a facility by a health care professional.
* MAR is a part of a patient permanent record on their medical chart.
*MAR sheet must be clear , accurate, and up to date
