Headache is defined as the pain originating in different regions like face, head,or neck. This pain threshold can be reduced or increased and it can be localised to the face, skull,or neck. In the bodymost of pain are in head. In certain conditions the head ache related to nausea, vomiting and dizziness.
Types of headaches
There are different types of headaches,they are mainly
Primary headache
Secondary headache
Other headache
Primary headache
It is a type of headache ,but the cause is not known. It may occur
due to over strain or over activity. It is not a life-threatening
think,but it may affect the daily life. The primary headaches are
again classified into
Tension headaches
Migraine headache
Cluster headache
Tension head ache
This type of headache can be seen in increasing the physical or
mental stress. The muscles of face or the scalp become tensed ,
this type of headache can occur.
Migraine headache
The pain threshold become mild to severe. It can be seen atleast
four hours to three days. Different factors can be affected, one is
hormonal changes. The symptoms include sensitivity to light, smell
and certain sounds.
Cluster headache
It is a rare type of headache,but it is severe. The pain is very
severe and throbbing,it occurs mainly on behind the eyes. The
symptoms include watery eyes and it is very sensitive to light.
Secondary headache
The secondary headaches are occured due to certain disease
conditions like tumour, bleeding from the brain, certain infections
etc. It is a life threatening cause. Certainsecondary headaches

Sinus headache
Medication overuse headache
Sinus headache
The sinus headache are due the infection occur in the sinus. The
pain is very severe and throbbing. The pain is in the cheekbones,
forehead and bridge of the nose. In certain movement or strain will
worsen the condition.
Medication overuse headache
These are due to the overuse of certain over the counter drugs.
Most of the headache can be seen inthe hospital and such type of
headache are transformed headache.
Other headache
Certain headache, the pain is in the facial or pain occur in the
cranial nerve. In this teminal neuralgia is involved. This means
that ,it is a cause of facial pain that affect the daily life and
leads to depression.
Causative factors for headaches
The headaches can be mainly occurs due to certain factors. They
includes,
Usage of alcohol
Duevto physical and emotional stress
Do not eat food at correct time or skipping of food
Changes in the sleeping pattern
Due to the overuse of medication
Certain genetic and environmental factors
Certain disease conditions
Obesity
Overuse of caffeine
Depression
Anxiety
Preveive methods for headaches
Mainly headache can be prevented at home, in certain severe
condition we have to take advice from the physician. There are some
preventive methods
Avoid the headache triggers
Avoid overuse of medication
Got enough sleep
Do not skip the foods
Take exercise regularly
Reduce stress
Avoid caffeine contain foods
Avoid loud noises and bright light
Take certain mineral or herb supplements
Beware of hormonal changes
