ADB is an acronym for Asian Development Bank. It is one of the financial institution founded in 1960s which cooperation in one of the poorest regions around the world. Intially it focused on food production and rural development.
World bank is an largest financial institution that provide loans to countries of the world for capital projects. World bank current president is Jim Yong Kim and it was located in United states. The current cheif executive officer is kristalina Georgieva.
The major difference between these two financial institutions is the ABD provide only assistance to Asian countries and world bank which has a world wide coverage.
AIIB will provide financing for infrastructure projects. So AIIB will be infrastructure focused and world bank and ADB will be more poverty focused.
