NAME ALL THE DEVICES

NAME ALL THE PROCESS

NAME ANY DEVICE THAT CAN BE EASILY MADE BY A STUDENT

Solutions

Expert Solution

By using megger for underground cables we can find the faults in it. by using megger for underground cables we can find fault. when megger is connected between the conductors of underground cables , when megger shows the zero resistance then there is a short circuit fault in the cables.

when megger shows infinite then there is open circuit fault in the underground cables.

Devices used for the detection of fault

megger

conductor

meters

process for detecting faults in underground cables

Cable thumping

TIme domain reflectometer

high voltage radar methods

Easy method to find fault is using megger
