Tom Brady went to Supercuts and is upset as his haircut went awry. He tells Supercuts that they will be hearing from his lawyer and “the haircut is an assault” and “will cause both him and Giselle emotional distress.” He also adds that the “haircut is also clearly negligence.” He sees you walking with your Business Law textbook, which you never leave home without and asks you what you think. What do you tell him?
The service Tom Brandy is taking from the supercute is unrepairable or unchangeable when it is not handelled with care. If haircuts has been done improperly or unsatisfactory as per the consumer then he may as for compensation but not altering the service or change can be made in these services. The business laws may apply to a little extent only. The laws saves the rights of the consumer but here in this case it is a general service for which the customer ask only compensation by talking to the owner of the business. It doesn't mean that his right has less important. This is not the valid reason to sue. May be as per your instructions haircut was not done but it may be mistakenly happen. As the distress has been happen between both of them so they need to communicate with each other so that any conclusion can come out. It is solved as per the mutual understanding but not by laws. The consumer rights Act 2015 says that the services would be provided with reasonable care and skills. There would be only option of price reduction or free services for the particular time period.
