Introduction:
Evidence-based practice (EBP) is more than the application of best research evidence to get into practice. for evidence-based medicine, the parent discipline of EBP, state that EBP has three, and possibly four, components: best research evidence, clinical expertise, and patient preferences and needs.

The cycle is an important part in EBP :5A's Cycle" of EBP that include assessing the patient and questioning about his/her care, asking a focused clinical question about the condition, acquiring the evidence to answer the question, appraising the research, applying the research findings to patient care, and finally auditing your performance.The cycle begins again with an assessment of the patient and the patient's current health.
Conclusion:
EBP plays a role in maintaining that finite health resources are used wiselyand that relevant evidence is considered when decisions are made on funding health services.
