In economics, sustainability is a new topic, wherein we are trying our best to reduce the demand for goods and services that have a major impact on the world in terms of the resources being used or the pollution being done to the society as a result of the production or the consumption process.

The core aim of the government and of numerous profit and non-profit organizations today is to ensure that the demand for goods and services which contribute towards reducing the greenhouse effect and produce goods and services which would rather help the economy in growing at the same rate is extremely high.

A green job is one in which a company allocates its human resources in a way that they aim to reduce the impact which the organization has on the environment, by either reducing the current emissions which it is doing or to develop new products and or services which help in doing the same.

They act as catalysts in the sense that once such technologies have been developed by the enterprise they are rapidly used by other competitors as well to reduce the global carbon footprint of the company as well as maximizing on its profit margins as it uses goods more efficiently.

Previously, companies are thought to be one of the highest sources of global emissions, however, with the emergence of companies such as Tesla and others, the way they view the world has been rapidly changing.

Green jobs provide an alternative to people whereby they can contribute in a manner that innovation can take place on one hand, and provides cost advantage to the company which implements it and on the other hand it can add value to the economy in terms of reduced emissions as well.

For example, when a company chooses a strategy of better waste management or using solar power for its organization, green job employees are hired to ensure that this can become a reality. They then utilize their skills in improving the existing production techniques to be able to use the new technologies which in turn are economically advantageous for the company in terms of reduced costs on one hand and on the other are better for the world as a whole in reducing emissions as well.

Green jobs in companies such as Tesla has meant development of new brands which focus towards creating innovation in a manner that they offer competitive products to its producers on one hand and on the other help the company in realizing its goals of profits while remaining sustainable on the other.

We can thus conclude by saying, that green jobs are those that aim to reduce cost of operations for a firm by constantly innovating and help in reducing the existing demand for those goods that are high emission by providing substitutes to the market that come at the same or even higher satisfaction for the consumer at a lesser price for the firm respectively.

The gases behave as ideal at low pressure, however, at high pressure they deviate from the ideal behavior. Compare the input power required(in kW)for compressing oxygen gas by first assuming ideal behavior then the real behavior. Take inlet state at 10 MPa, 14°C and the final state after compression is 15 MPa, 127°C. You can ignore the effect of gravity and motion of the system.Assume mass flow rate of the gas as 9 kg/min
