Take the data of your own choice of the two families with the different expenditures having six variables and make a pie chart for their comparison

Solutions

Expert Solution

The data on two families with different expenditures having six variables given below :

Family -I having 75000 monthly expenditure

Family -II having 70000 monthly expenditure

for example for family I

angle measure for item Food is

similarly all values for family I and family II are calculated in table above and table below:

now we draw pie diagram or chart as for both family expenditure as follows:

● Draw a circle of any radius.

● Draw a horizontal radius

● Starting with the horizontal radius, draw radii, making central angles corresponding to the values of respective components.

● Repeat the process for all the components of the given data.

● These radii divide the whole circle into various sectors.

● Now, shade the sectors with different colours to denote various components.

● Thus, we obtain the required pie chart as below:

Comparision between two families expenditure:

  • from above pie chart we can say that Family II expend more on food ,chidrens educations,Housing than family I. As familly II having total expenditure is 70000 and family I having total expenditure 75000.family I expend more amount on clthing ,saving , and others as compare to family I.
