  1. Food intake should be decreased prior to exercise - a diabetic patient should not take a large amount of food as the pre workout snack. the pre workout snack should be with in 100 calories.
  2. consistency between food intake and exercise is important - combining physical activity and proper diet is important in the management of diebetis. doing physical activity along with diet can have more effect than controling only with diet.
  3. carbohydrates are strictly limited before activity - carbohydrates should be avoided beause it is one of the main factors that increase the blood glucose levels. fruits like apple or limited amount of carbohydrate can be taken as a preworkout snack.
  4. sugar intake should be increased to prevent hypoglycemia - there is a chance of hypoglycemia in diabetic patients if they completely avoid sugar intake. but they should not take more amount of sugar because it will increase the blood glucose levels. they can include a small amound of sugar in their diet.

  1. arterial blood coagulation - arterial blood coagulation is is the blood clot that develops in the artery which may obstruct or stop the blood flow to the major organs. this will lead to arterial thriombosis.
  2. stasis of blood - it is one of the risk factors in development of venous thrombosis. the stasis of blood will cause a decresed flow of blood in the veins which will lead to formation bof clots and will result in the development of venous thrombosis.
  3. vessel wall injury - if there is an injury to the vessel wall there is chance of hypercoagulability or clot formation which will gradualy lead to venous thrombosis.
  4. arterial insufficiency - arterial insufficiency is the condition that decreases the blood flow through the arteries.
