Beyond the remuneration and benefits, human resources professionals deal with challenges like addressing inequality concerns, fostering diversity in the workforce, and setting standards at the workplace. The hr system ethical standards around the concerns can impact directly how an organisation attracts and retains talent. The main areas of ethical standards includes the basic human rights such as security of job, feedback tests; privacy; safety at work place; fairness, respect, and honesty process in work place; justifiable employee treatment (e.g. equity and equal opportunity); keep information confidential (e.g. medical records, social security numbers); and implement diversity and inclusion practices.
