Solutions

Expert Solution

The poverty, family processes, cognitive processes, and biology related to the development play a key role in the development of indiviual with drug usage, depressive symptoms, and juvenille delinquence. One or a combination of these factors decide the fututre of an adolescent. These are discussed below:

Poverty: The children who are brought up in a poor family usually feel themselves as inferior to others. They don't gel up with people easily. They always have a feeling of inferiority complex. This constant feeling pose them to the menace of depression. They feel detached with the surrounding and everything. This will ultimately put them at verge of drug abuse. They feel relaxed after consuming drugs, so they become habitual of it. Drugs make them forget that they are poor or inferior to others. Also, drug abuse is a major factor for juvenille crime. These indivials have always shared a negative emotion towards the society. So, when they get a chance they can very easily indulge in childhood delinquence.

Family Processes: Family plays a very important role in correctly shaping an indiviual. A child's first school is his home. If a child experiences a bad upbringing or bad atmosphere at home, he/she is more at a risk to depresion, drug abuse and juvenille delinquence.
