Nursing is not an easy job. It require high knowledge, skills, patient understanding, sympathy empathy, ethics etc. Here we are handling with patients and their life. Its a highly respectful profession by the world. And the whole world is considering the nurses as angels send from god. Nursing is everything with helping the needy people with our professional knowledge, skills, helping hands etc. Here we come across each patients life, understand their feelings and sufferings and provide comfort to them. Sometimes the nurses may forget their patients, but if the patient received true care from the nurse, he or she will never forget that nurse in their life time. Hence it is a highly demanded job. Apart from that, nursing will provide high job satisfaction with good amount of salary.Where we will learn about wide variety of knowledge, learn new skills and can meet differnt types of individuals. No hospitals can run without highly qualified skilful nurses, hence chances of job oppertunities are also very high in all countries. All over the world, the nursing profession is getiing highest respect. The chance of carrier growth also very good. They can pursue higher degrees in nursing and the learning process never ends here. Chances of continuing education also high and they can do higher courses in the same field. All these are the reasons of choosing nursing profession.
Q,N.4
In my opinion, its better to choose the speciality of ICU nurse. An ICU in a hospital is the area, where the individuals are treated for very severe life threatening situations. Being an ICU nurse, we can provide endless care to the severly injured patients and we can bring them back to life. Here the ICU nurse will be full time engaged with providing comprahensive holistic care to the individual. Here, we will come across all age group of individuals such as Childrens, adolescence, middle aged. elderly etc.Since we need to care severly ill or critically ill patients in an ICU, the complete care can be provided to them, without wasting our time. The duties includes, complete assessment of the individual, providing advanced cardiac care, respiratory care, wound cleaning, position changing, feeding, providing ROM exercises etc.
Q.N.5
Pursuing an advanced Nursing carrier is always a better option a graduate nurse can follow. It will improve their knowledge, helps to learn advanced skills and more over it provides professional growth and carrier growth. It helps to achieve a better job which is better in terms of salary, job security, status, respect etc.
Its better to choose the role of an Advance Nurse Practioner (ANP). The Nurse practioner job is a highly respected job, where they can independently treat their clients. They have the right to do independent patient assessment, can prescribe various lab investigations and image studies, interpret the results, and make final diagnosis. They also have the right to treat the patient independently. They can refer the patients to a better health care service area. Hence proper treatment can be given to the sick people without wasting time and thus the life can be saved. In most of the hospitals, due to lack of doctors, the poor patients are not getting adequate treatment on time. By being a Nurse Practioner, that situation can be avoided and life of each individual can be saved.
Q.N.6
The most challenging aspect of nursing programme is effective time management. Because of the busy class schedules, clinical shifts and duty time, most of the student nurses, as well as the working nurses, not getting adequate quality of time to complete their personal activities, work etc. Many of them will be having the personal interests, hobbies etc. But due to the hectic workload, non of these wishes are not fulfilled. They cannot spend time effectively with parents, friends etc. Even during the class also because of assignments, home activities, etc most of the student nurses may lack time to copmlete their studies on time. This may create mental tension up on them. And they may need to forcefully neglect their personal needs.
Inorder to overcome this time management issues, the student nurses can prepare a effective time management plan.A time table of the day can be prepared and effective time can be allotted for all activities including personal hobbies and interest. This helps to avoid unnecessary time wasing and can go upto date with all activities.
