1) one major impact of Deinstitutionalization is the shift in society's attitude.people now show more support for those with mental disorder.People are now more aware of common mental disorder such as depression and anxiety.People are now willing to talk to health professionals in order to seek help. 2) stigma is an attribute that reduces someone from a whole to a discounted one.stigma have a way of making the mental illness worsen for the person involved in mental health problems.Stigma also delay the rate at which such person get treatment and their recovery. Unemployment,poverty and social isolation are connected to mental I'll health. Stigma has different dimensions:the first dimensions is peril' or dangerousness, here the general public view those with mental disorder as frightening, strange which result in the fear and discomfort as a result of the social cue attributed to individual. ii) Origin' is another dimension of Stigma: here, society's believe that mental disorder can be controlled personally ,and if the fellow do not get better on their own ,then they are seen to lack personal effort,they are blamed for their condition. 3) Members of the family becomes deeply affected . they may struggle to assist a family member that do not have access to care,or when a mentally individual refuse any assistance rendered by it's member. The nurse will encourage family members not to be discouraged in rendering assistance to the mentally ill individual. 4) Positive effect of the living skill program are: such program could help in the rehabilitation process of mentally I'll person and it's also enable independent living and quality of life for the people with mental illness.
