Ans 1 - Covid 19 has definitely increased the perceived health staus of health care professional.

As the pandemic spread across the world public realized the value of health professionals. Workload for health professionals increased severely and many of them were not able to meet their families for long time. And so they were named as frontline warriors who risk their life to save others.

As well as government also promoted the the work done by health professionals. So appreciation for their work developed in individuals which eventually increased their perceived status.

Ans 2 -

Health care workers should now manage their personal hygiene with utmost care unlike in past where personal hygiene was not taken care off . As health workers are more susceptible to get in contact with virus.

Previously social distance , sanitization ,mask where not of much importance but now their proper use is one of the most important things .

Health workers should now posses knowledge of ppe kit , infection control and management and he should be able to apply it skillfully.

Health staff especially doctors and nurses should be trainned in managing a isolation ward skillfully.

Infection control in community is also a duty of health workers.
