The key financial difference for the following are: For-profit facility: As the name implies, these facilities are established for profit making. These facilities pay for their property and income taxes which in turn cuts into their profit margin.secondly, They are at greater advantage of investing their funds to raise more capital. Non- profit facility: These facilities are service driven facility,not for profit making. They do not realize money in the real sense . They depend on funds from donors,minor investment and community at large to care for patient. Public Health care facility: These facilities do not render service of care for profit making. Public health facility are exempted from tax, from property and income taxes. They also empower the community by providing regular employment opportunities for doctor,nurses, and other health care professional. Health care facilities respond to the health needs of the community.
