Life is the branch of science dealing with the study of living beings and humans. The study of life is Biology. It is very difficult to come out with a perfect definition of life. However, if we view life from the genetic and molecular biology point of view, we can come to a conclusion about life. Every living thing shares common properties within themselves. One such property is organization. Unicellular and multicellular organisms both have a cellular structure that is well organized. The cells do the job of formation of tissues which further make up the organs. The organs are critical for survival for the body because each such organ carries out important functions. Living organisms also have a metabolism. Metabolism is a series of chemical reactions that drive energy for bodily functions. The living organism also undergoes homeostasis with constant change in the environment. Reproduction, both sexual and asexual is the core of life. Lastly, living organisms undergo cellular divisions which cause them to grow. Life is always in motion and living organisms are constantly evolving for the betterment of their survival chances in the environment.
