Cardiac auscultation is for assessing normal & abnormal heart sound

Normal heart sound:- Lub-Dub

Abnormal heart sound:- Murmured, muffled heart sound

NERV:- Nervous system is for reflexes, alertness, responsiveness of the canine. A canine with heathy nerve is always alert, aware about the surrounding & well responsive to all the responses & afterall not acting sick

BAR & QAR plays a major role in this

BAR ( Bright, Alert , Responsive)

QAR( Quiet, Alert & Responsive)

Obtundation is almost the same of lethargic state in which the patient is less interested in the environment, slow in response to the stimulation & tens to sleep more than normal & drowsiness us also present in between sleep states.

M/S: To evaluate the muscle mass tone for checking strength & activeness.

Abdomen/GI:- Inspection of the abdomen for distantion, deformity & auscultation is for initial hypermobility & palpation is for tenderness, pain

URINE OUTPUT:- Urine production is a sign of renal perfusion, renal function & someone's hydration status. Normal urine output of a healthy canine is 1-2ml/kg /hr.

So urine output should be monitored specially to detect if the urinary system is properly functioning.

Special explanation on

BAR

If the canine is healthy & it's feeling good , it will look around the environment & respond to the noices & other visual stimulation

QAR

A Canine who's a bit under the weather or who has a more laid-back disposition, that might be QAR.
