Electromyography is a diagnostic procedure, which is used to evaluate the eletrical potential associated with the skeletal muscles. and nerves.Electromyograph is usd to record the procedure.
EMG is manly done to assess health of the muscles and nerves.This procedure help to know the ability of muscles in the contraction and relaxation process,.During this procedure one or more needles are inserted through the skin in to the muscle and the probes are attached in to a audio transmitter,where the electrical activity of the muscles are traced.EMG result help the doctor to diagnose the types of disorder which is present in the patint.

-the indications are -to diagnose lower motor neuron dysfunction
-primary muscle disease.
