CRM refers to customer relationship management and it is a technique which is mostly followed today by the process oriented organisations. It basically means taking care of your customers or potential customers ie., maintaining a good relationship with them as it helps the company in achieving it’s objectives. Organisational goals are very wide and thus requires coordination of every single functional unit. Recently there has been a new marketing techniques like CRM, SCM, ERP etc. Aligning these activities with the organisational goals helps the organisation in achieving it’s objectives more swiftly and thus increases it’s profitability. As more the happy customers then more will be the sale and higher will be the profit. Some emarketjng companies are bcwebwise , istrat, pinstorm etc. These companies use digital marketing method for promotion activities. Sometimes the companies keeps track of the customers cookies on the interent and the recently viewed goods by the customer as it helps the company in knowing its customers as well as maintaing a relationship with them. Eventually the customers feels satisfied and happy and thus the sales increases which leads to increase in profits.
