Apply the trade-off between efficiency and equity (sic, political economics) to food production.
The equity and efficiency trade off shows the relationship between economic increase in the market with product efficiency but decrease in the equal distribution of product.
We can see in any economy the rich man gets richer and the poor man gets poorer. If there is an increase in the economy in any country there we cannot see equal income distribution.
Food production is the major industry where people get food the most essential commodity of living into extent. In this food production they produce different varieties of items which are used for food.
We can see this inequality even in consumption of food because a person with better income will be able to get buy food where as a person in below poverty line has to suffere to get a single meal a day. This is due to inequal distribution of income. The government should certain measures and make sure that people in a country below poverty line are able to eat food.
This inequity in food production should be reduced by the government and it should take certain steps for the equal distribution of food production among people.
