Children with delayed skills or other disabilities might be eligible for special services that provide individualized education programs(IEP) in public schools,free of charges to families. Understanding teacher role in educatingba children with an IEP will benefit both teacher and children .
WHO NEEDS AN IEP:
Students struggling in school may qualify for support services ,allowing them to be taught in a special ways ,
PROCESS OF SERVICE DELIVERD:
In process of services delivered in most cases, the services outlined in an IEP can be provided in regular education classrooms .In other cases, IEP services might be delivered in separate resource classrooms or even separate schools, depending on the children needs. Some children may have an IEP for one subject area only ,while others may have one for all academic subjects in addition to social skill instructions.
