Why should taxpayers subsidize businesses who provide additional training and education? What external benefits are generated by this additional training?

Solutions

Expert Solution

Education and training can be considered as positive externalities this would have a positive impact on the society where the education and training can improve the productivity and this can increase the supply and decrease the price so that the society will pay less price for the goods and this is the reason why the taxpayer should encourage businesses by subsidizing those which provide training and development. The external benefits are reduction in prices, improvement in the unemployment conditions, increase in the purchasing power and also increase in the businesses on the whole
