Product Strategy refers to the plan which shows the path to the salesperson on how to accomplish the desired goals of the product. Both product features and product are totally different concepts. The former refers to the characteristics of the product, whereas, the latter refers to the advantages that the commodity offers to its consumer.
I would like to discuss about my iphone 11 which I bought few months ago from FIDO. As I am a student, I was looking for an iphone which could also be fitted in my budget. I explained my situation to the sales representative. Fortunately, iphone 11's promotion was going on, due to which, I got 18% discount on every installment. I purchased it on a deal including my monthly data plan for $75 per month. The installments are needed to be paid in 24 months. A new dual-camera system with full day battery life, highest quality video are some additional features along with the existing ones. My plan included 4GB data, 1000 international calling minutes, unlimited Canada wide minutes, messages etc. This deal was really beneficial as it fitted in my budget as well as I got my new iphone.
The salesperson did a really good job. I other words, he applied win-win philosophy. He was completely successful in communicating the benefits and features of the product along with clearing each and every query of mine by applying solution selling strategy. I asked a lot of questions from him out of curiosity, however,he answered each of them patiently. He understood my situation and offered me the same product which met my expectations. Overall, I got what I needed.
