Increased literacy combined with the restorationn lesd the US people to an incressingly public life. There were also clear class distinctions that were prevalent in the realsm of both home life ouutwrd sociallife and education, New developments recreation commercialization and industrialization also leads to a transformation in both entertainment and occupation availablle. The family lives of people were seperated by two distinctions role for men versus roles for men versus roles for women and social class in general men were for the family whereas the mothers were in charge of the household . ;This role grew more prominent with more wealth as with that came more estate to manage.women had to take on various roles in the household during the 17 the and 18 centuries. they were responsible for running the house hold and for more affluent families manging the servants. women or mothers were also responsible for raising and educating their children.
