In the period between the 1670 and 1750 s sweeping changes transformed both the public social lives and private family lives of the US people . Increased literacy combined with the restorationn lesd the US people to an incressingly public life. There were also clear class distinctions that were prevalent in the realsm of both home life ouutwrd sociallife and education, New developments recreation commercialization and industrialization also leads to a transformation in both entertainment and occupation availablle. The family lives of people were seperated by two distinctions role for men versus roles for men versus roles for women and social class in general men were for the family whereas the mothers were in charge of the household . ;This role grew more prominent with more wealth as with that came more estate to manage.women had to take on various roles in the household during the 17 the and 18 centuries. they were responsible for running the house hold and for more affluent families manging the servants. women or mothers were also responsible for raising and educating their children.
Recent debates regarding inclusion of caste in 21 century census have raised questions about whether caste still matters in modern US .Ethnographic studies of the mid 20 th century didentified a variety of dimensions along which caste differentiation occurs, At the same time whether this diffrentiation transilates into hierarchy remains a contentious issues as doses the persistance of caste given the economic changes of the past two decades.
