a ) Nine negative consequences of the covid pandemic on the
medical and
agricultural sectors in the Caribbean are discussed below--
In the agricultural field--
1) Due to the spread of Covid-19 there is decreasing the production of agricultural products.
2) Due to social isolation & lock down effect,,the employees are unable to perform their job accurately in Agricultural field.
3) In Agricultural sectors a huge ammount of loss is taken place by the Covid-19 pandemic situation.
4) It is tough to arrange the daily dietary food for the people who are belonging lower socio economic status.
5) For the less production,, the cost of the agricultural products is increased day by day..
In the Medical field--
6) Covid 19 is a contaminated disease.It spread very quickly from man to man..
7) Death rate of the country is increased due to Covid-19 pandemic situation..
8) Due to the social isolation & covid-19 pandemic situation it become difficult the treatment of other disease..
9) People suffered more & more & being attack from the hospital environment..
b) Five major negative effects that covid is having on trade in
Jamaica are discussed below--
1) Due to the pandemic situation a great loss in the production industry have been faced.
2) The production of agriculture is aloso affected.
3) Death rate of the country is increased due to Covid-19 pandemic situation.
4) The mental health of the resident of the particular country is also affected due to social isolation..
5) People suffered more & more & being attack from the hospital environment..
c) Eight recommendations that can be adapted by the government of
Jamaica in a post-covid setting that will
allow their trade framework and business and health sectors to
withstand any future pandemics are discussed below-
1) Social isolation should be taken..
2) Mask, gloves & Other personal protective equipment must be used.
3) The effected people of Covid must be go to the quarantine.
4) Symptomatic management & clinical care should be taken..
5) Community support should be established..
6) In any type of workplace sepation measure should be maintained..
7) In Public transport sepation measure should be maintained..
8) Epidemiology & risk for the disease should be assessed..
