Yes.!! Most of the insurance companies refuse to pay for the alternative treatments such a acupuncture or chiropractic care, because these treatment are conventional/traditional treatment methodology which are inconsistent in its treatment and these are not the effective treatment techniques to patients.

These treatment are not based on scientific methodologies, rather old traditional methods and are limited to certain parts of the world. Though it gives some positive results to some patients, it is very difficult to introduce in modern scientific hospital without any scientific proof or evidence.
