Evidence based practice is providing healthcare that has been tested, studied and proven to be safe, as well as the best thing to do for the patient. The internet has a vast amount of information but is not always reliable, making it difficult for individuals to access reliable facts.

The opposition of vaccinations has existed since they were first developed and with the publication of just ONE article, which has been overwhelmingly discredited, many parents continue to refuse to vaccinate their children. Vaccinations are the number one defense (and as in the case of small pox, the only defense) against preventable disease yet there are thousands of “parents against vaccination” sites on the Web. After reading Tyler, and Vaccination and the Health Care Worker, do a Google search on parents against vaccinations (remember, you can use vaccination and immunization interchangeably). Prepare a pro versus con list of the information and defend the sources’ reliability. Along with that, imagineyou have a family member who is against immunizations, use the knowledge you have gained to develop an evidence based instruction sheet for them with the goal being to change their view.

Being a parent, and making a good choices for their dear ones is absolutely essential. Recently, we had a thought that is vaccination necessary for my baby? Is it really worth vaccinating my child? . My answer will be definitely YES!!!!

We can receive so many controversial thoughts against vaccinating daily via papers, internets, word of mouth etc., we get pressurized to decide what to choose.. can I vaccinate my baby?

No more worries or confusions if you are going to vaccinate your baby you are helping the nation to eradicate the disease. Vaccination is really a 20 th century greatest health care development. In olden days we had many disease prevalence but now just because of vacciantion we have successfully eradicate it. The primary advantage of vaccination is it prevents diseases. Not only from preventing the diseases, and also being spread the disease to the babies/children who do not receive vaccines, elderly people, pregnant women, who are allrgic to vaccines and those are immunocompromised.

we are helping the nation in preventing disease transmission, eradicating disease and a healthier generation. Be vaccinated! Be Healthy! Make nation Healthy!
