The nomination system is the process of selecting an individual through an election. There are many faults in the nomination system. The main fault of the nomination system is the selection of the nominee for the nomination system. There is no specific assessment of the qualification and the ability to handle the public administration. Anyone can be a public nominee for the election if the person is a citizen of the respective population or country. This leads to the selection of low qualification, low knowledge regarding public administration or politics. It will affect the management of the public demand when he or she becomes selected after the election. The involvement of the public in the nomination campaign is very wrong. This leads to the formation of groups base on the support of the different nominees and leads to much societal violence.
As an election reform commissioner, I will not keep the present election system. There is a need to change to prevent from destroying the future of society by selecting an unqualified candidate for the election.
There should be a change in the nomination system in the eligibility criteria that they should have a strong qualification of public administration so that it will make the society maintain very well. During the campaign, there should be no public involvement, only the candidate have to share the abilities that he can do for the society, which proves that he will be the most qualified. No group formation should be there in the public for the support of the particular candidate. the base on the information that he shares and eligibility of the person, the public should give their vote.
