Expert Solution

Yes , it is very true that if a man smokes , takes drugs or drinks alcohol , this can harm a fetus , hiwever teratogenicity is rarely seen but defect of the sperm are very avid.

Smoking marijuana : The men who smoke marijuana have lower quality and quantity sperms . Also the seminal fluid produces is very less . These are abnormal in the sense that these sperms burn out very fast , due to earlier hyperactivation / capacitation which normally occurs in the cervix . If anyhow this sperm fertilises the egg , deformities will be seen in the baby . Further smoke of marijuana has more direct effect on the developing fetus and may lead to both growth and mental retardation.Similarly drinking alcohol in addition to causing , libido in the patient also lowers the sperm quality.iSmilarily taking drugs may lead to the loss of erection , ejaculation and permanent deformities in the sperm . This mutant sperm passes its mutant DNA to the fetus and thats how we can demonstrate the harmful effects of smoking , taking drugs or drinking alcohol.

A lot of research has been done about the importance of exposing children to classical music because it causes their cerebellum to be larger. In terms of academia, I think for some people listening to music will make a difference in the test scores, however, I also wonder if the type of music will impact the results not just the volume. If you were to actually conduct this study, which research design would you use?
