you explored several theories of human development including a psychodynamic theory advanced by Freud which was later built upon by Erikson. Although the initial stages of Erikson's work parallels Freud's, Erikson's theory introduced three adult stages resulting in a more comprehensive lifespan view of psychosocial development.
In your initial post:
Erikson maintained that personality develops in a predetermined order through 8 stages of psychosocial bdevelopment from infancy to adulthood.
During each stage the person experience a psychosocial crisis, which have positive and negative outcome for personality development.
Erikson 8 stages are-----
1. Infant 18 months--trust VS Mistrust
2. 18 months to 3 years--Autonomy VS Shame
3. 3 years to 5 years -- Initiative VS guilt
4. 5 years to 13 years -- Identity VS confusion
5. 21 years to 39 years-- Intimacy VS isolation
6. 40 years to 65 years-- generativity VS stagnation
7. 65 years and older -- integrity VS despair
In my case I go through the Erikson stage is ---
Intimacy VS isolation --- young adult struggle to form close relationship and to gain the capacity for intimate love or they feel socially isolated.
In my next stage of Erikson stage is ---
Generativity VS stagnation--- The middle aged discover a sense of contributing to the world , usually through family and work or they may feel a lack of purpose.
Yes, I reached to meet the goal of newly created stages.
