Is it possible to be both a feminist and militarist?

• According to my point of view yes one can be a feminist and militarist in today's modern age.
• Women should have equal access to military combat training and being a part of it.
• Even though the change is happening all around the world but still the conclusion is debatable.
• In U.S especially there has been successful inclusion of women in combat which as been a win for feminism achieving equality but still there is a view among people that war is something which is a role for men.
• A military policy which recognizes women participation in combat training and actually being a part of it indicates gender integretation and also making a point that if given a chance a woman can be equal to a man as a militarist.
• Virginia Woolf in her book "Three Guineas" mentions that the instinct of fighting or war is more of man's habit than a woman's.
• But there are many women soldiers and politicians which defy this view and their participation indicates that women do have war instinct as well. All they need is an opportunity.
• As a feminist whether a man or a woman they should have the right to make the decision whether to become a militarist or not. Equal opportunity should be provided to both.
• If a man is considered to be physically strong and a woman mentally strong then a woman can be trained to become a soldier.
