Migratory and seasonal agricultural workers (MSAWs) populations are plagued by serious health issues such as; diabetes, malnutrition, infectious diseases, pesticide poisoning, and injuries while working. The migratory culture of this population group exacerbates these health issues, making it difficult to develop a relationship with a healthcare provider, maintaining the treatment regimens, and tracking the health records. The challenges faced include;

• a work environment that is hazardous
• Poverty status
• Inadequate housing
• Limited availability of clean water and septic systems
• Inadequate access to healthcare
• Continuity of care issues
• Lack of insurance
• Cultural and language barriers
• Lack of education and hence awareness regarding health

Thus all these issues lead to a difficulty in health care delivery, planning, and promotion as it is tough to get data about this type of population, (RHIhub, 2015)
